The first meeting between six prestigious institutions was held at Central University of Punjab

He said that definitely this partnership will establish new dimensions at the level of research and research in North India.

Hrayana :- For the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is working in association with IIT Ropar, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Jammu. On completion of three years of the National Education Policy, these institutions signed MoU on July 29 in the presence of Central Education Minister Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan in the New Delhi. The first meeting between all the partner institutions was held at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. In this meeting Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar especially emphasized on mutual partnership, joint direction for research among institutions and said that this would pave the way for quality research work.

Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized on making the teachers of all the institutes especially aware of the objectives of this partnership. He said that it is possible to achieve the goals of the MoU only through this awareness. Organized under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Central University of Punjab, Bathinda Prof. R.P. Tiwari, this meeting was attended by the Director of IIT Ropar, Prof. Rajeev Ahuja; Vice Chancellor, Central University of Rajasthan, Prof. AnandBhalerao; Vice Chancellor, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Prof. S.P. Bansal and Registrar, Central University of Jammu, Prof. Yashwant Singh. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that the ten-point program was mainly discussed in the meeting, in which exchange of students and teachers between institutions, joint research projects, joint consultancies, conducting joint Ph.D. programs, joint academicprograms (Diploma/Degree), starting dual degree programs, organizing seminars, workshops and symposia etc. with mutual partnership, running joint outreach programs, internships and appointment of nodal officers were discussed. The Vice-Chancellor said that the welcome speech at the beginning of the event was given by Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari and he highlighted the importance of mutual partnership in the 21st century and informed about its utility. He said that definitely this partnership will establish new dimensions at the level of research and research in North India.
