Ranchi - Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Ranchi has announced a vacancy for the post of Project Assistant for a research project titled "Development of conducting polymer-based hybrid nanocomposites for the application of organic light emitting diodes as electron transporting layer material". The project is sponsored by the Jharkhand Council of Science Technology and Innovation (JCSTI).

As per the official notification, one vacancy is available.The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, with an initial appointment of one year, which may be extended or terminated earlier based on performance and availability of project funds. Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹18,000. 

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Physics or an allied discipline, with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10-point scale) at the Masters level. Candidates with hands-on experience in polymer material synthesis will be given preference. The upper age limit is 35 years, with relaxation applicable as per government norms.

The project will be conducted in the Department of Sciences (Physics), IIIT Ranchi,  under the supervision of Dr. Rohit Kandulna, Assistant Professor, Department of Sciences (Physics).

Applicants must also fill the Google Form provided in the official notification.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the position. The institute reserves , the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
