Mahendergarh ; A one-day Techfest (ADVIK) 2023 was organized on Monday at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh. The event was inaugurated by national award winning eminent scientist and educationist Mr. Jaspal Singh. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and the first lady of the University, Prof. Sunita Srivastava, Registrar Prof. Sunil Kumar were present. The Vice Chancellor of the University said on the occasion that for the change in the modern times, it is necessary that we develop on the technological front and be aware of the ongoing changes in this field.
Advik 2023, organized in the sports complex of the University, started with the University Kulgeet. After this, the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology and the coordinator of the event, Prof. Phool Singh highlighted the outline of the event while presenting the welcome speech. He said that this program is being organized entirely by the students under the guidance of the teachers. After this, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, regarding this program organized in the University for the first time, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar said that this fest, organized with the aim of knowing and understanding the changes taking place in the field of technical development and technology, is a remarkable beginning in itself. He said that today technology is being used in education, health, agriculture, industry and in dialogue and ideological discussion among the common people. The effect of artificial intelligence is very visible in today's era. Such events are very useful in understanding these changes deeply and fulfilling their needs accordingly. The Vice-Chancellor described this beginning important and said that it would establish itself as a remarkable event in the times to come.
The chief guest Mr. Jaspal Singh, who participated in the event, said that in today's time, this event at the University level proves with what thinking the students are preparing the way for the future. He said that the way the name of this event is Advik means unique. Like him, students also need to think out of the box and try to implement that thought. Jaspal Singh taught the students to work tirelessly to make their dreams come true and said that thinking becomes successful only when your hard work is added to it. Program coordinator Prof. Phool Singh told that about 25 types of activities were organized under this one-day event. Technical debate, discussion on entrepreneurship, workshop, various competitions and fun zone were prominent in this. Not only from the University, participants from various educational institutions from all over Haryana participated in this event. On the occasion of inauguration of the program, Prof. Vikas Garg, Prof. Ajay Bansal from School of Engineering and Technology were present along with teachers, students and research scholars.
