Swachhata Shramdaan Held at PM SHRI School in New Delhi

As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 and Special Campaign 6.0, Department of School Education and Literacy Secretary T. K. Anil Kumar led a Swachhata Shramdaan at a PM SHRI school in New Delhi. The initiative included tree plantation under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 and a quiz on solid waste management, encouraging students to adopt cleanliness, waste segregation and environmental responsibility.

 New Delhi. : As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 and Special Campaign 6.0, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), Shri T. K. Anil Kumar, led a Swachhata Shramdaan at a PM SHRI school in New Delhi.

The cleanliness initiative brought together government officials, students and teachers to promote awareness about cleanliness, waste management and environmental responsibility among school students.

Tree Plantation Under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0

The programme also featured tree plantation under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 initiative.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to participate directly in an environmental initiative and encouraged awareness about the importance of maintaining clean and green surroundings.

Quiz on Solid Waste Management

A quiz on solid waste management was also organised as part of the drive.

The activity focused on encouraging students to understand the importance of proper waste management and segregation. Through student participation, the initiative aimed to reinforce messages related to cleanliness and responsible environmental practices.
