Haryana :- Final year students of Master of Hotel Management and catering Technology of Department of Tourism and Hotel Management,Central University of Haryana are pursuing their Job training in reputed five star hotels across India. In total 24 students were selected by the hotels through a rigorous process of 3-4 rounds of Interview. Students were evaluated by the HR Managers of hotels in terms of academic knowledge, practical knowledge and personality traits. Students were really very enthusiastic upon their job training selection in various five star hotels such as Taj Hotel Tirupati, JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi. Aloft by Marriott Aerocity New Delhi, Hyatt Place Vadodra, Mariott Bhopal, The Ritz Mumbai and Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.

Prof. (Dr.) Tankeshwar Kumar, Honourable Vice Chancellor of the University congratulated both the department and the students upon their selection as Job trainees. He also said that such trainings are very important for holistic development of the students where students apply their theoretical knowledge into practical. He further said that he always emphasize that students must get such exposure as a part of the curriculum.

Prof.Ranbir Singh, Head of the Department also congratulated the students and said this training will surely enhance the skills of the students and they will emerge as the future mangers of the industry.Prof. Singh said that for any industry practical knowledge and exposure is very crucial and department is always there to provide such opportunity to the students.

Dr. Amit Kumar, Assistant Professor and Training and Placement coordinator said that the process of the placement of students as job trainees was started earlier in the month of February itself and their resumes were shared with the HR Managers of the hotels. Students were selected by the hotels after different interview rounds and they were offered Job training in the preference city and department of the hotel.
