Haryana: The five-day workshop on “Application of Statistical Tools in Data Analysis” organized by the Statistics Department of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh from March 21, concluded on Friday. Through this workshop, the students, research scholars and faculty members were provided with detailed information on the present need for various statistical tools in data analysis and the current progress in their applications.

While addressing the concluding session of the workshop, The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that it is very necessary to organize such workshops in the present time and definitely through this workshop the participants will be able to gain knowledge related to various subjects like statistics, mathematics, psychology, medical science, education etc. which will help them to use these applications in their innovative research work. This workshop organized under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Participants from various universities and educational institutions across the country including Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, Chandigarh University, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maharishi Dayanand University and Zakir Hussain College participated in this event.
