SRM Institute of Science and Technology has started the registration process for Phase 2 of the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2026. The last date to register for Phase 2 is June 4, 2026, and the examination will be conducted from June 10 to 15. This is an important opportunity for students because many B. SRMJEEE 2026 will be conducted in three phases, giving students multiple opportunities to improve their scores. Phase 1 results were published on May 5, 2026, and counselling for qualified students began on May 7. Students interested in Phase 2 need to complete their registrations promptly, as the portal will close soon. The official website for updates and for all applications is srmist.edu.in.
Registration Process, Eligibility, and Application Fee
The entire registration process for SRMJEEE Phase 2 2026 is online. Candidates must first register on the university's official website (srmist.edu.in) using a valid e-mail ID. Then, personal and academic details must be entered. Candidates are also required to upload the necessary documents. The non-refundable application fee is set at Rs. 1,400. Students who initially appeared for Phase 1 and are now appearing for Phase 2 must register and pay the fee again to complete the Phase 2 application process.
Applicants must have completed Class 12 or be currently enrolled, and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60 percent in the qualifying examination and must be at least 16 years and 6 months of age as of July 31, of the year of the conducted board examination. Registrations are open to Indian nationals as well as NRI, PIO, and OCI candidates. Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, along with the applicant's scanned signature, must be uploaded at the time of registration.
SRMJEEE Exam Format and Test Day Expectations
SRMJEEE is an online exam taken from home. A reliable desktop or laptop with a webcam and a stable internet connection is required. Students are monitored by an AI Proctoring software during the exam. The exam consists of 130 MCQs and a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. As there is no negative marking, students can attempt as many questions as they desire.
The exam has four sections. These sections consist of Physics with 35 questions, Chemistry with 35 questions, Math or Biology with 40 questions, and an English and Aptitude combined with 20 questions. Each submitted section is in a one-question-at-a-time format and is permanent. Therefore, students should not rush, but should be accurate with their submissions. Before the actual exam, SRM releases mock tests to help students prepare. An email with the mock test will be sent to each student who registered for it.
Timeline for Slot Booking, Admit Card, and Results
Slot booking for Phase 2 will likely open on June 1, 2026, after registration closes on June 4. This is a first-come, first-served process, so candidates are recommended to book their preferred dates and times quickly. After confirming the testing date and time, the admit card may be downloaded, and testing candidates must bring their government-issued ID. This will be used by the online proctor to confirm that the ID and photo match.
For SRMJEEE Phase 2 2026, results are anticipated to be released in late June 2026, one week after the last testing date. Candidates who are successful will move on to fill their branch and campus preferences to complete the counselling process. This will be done through the SRM Admission Portal. For candidates who have appeared in more than one test, the position in the merit list will be based on the best test scores they have achieved.
