Soulful Performances Captivate Audience at Indian Classical Music Festival by CCRT

Annapurna Devi Foundation and CCRT organized two-day Indian classical music festival on April 17–18, 2026, featuring Pt. L. Shankar and other eminent artists, celebrating India's cultural heritage.

New Delhi. ; The Annapurna Devi Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), successfully hosted a two-day musical festival on April 17–18, 2026, celebrating the richness and timeless legacy of Indian classical music.

Thh festival, evolved into a deeply captivating musical evening, featuring soulful performances by renowned artists including Dhruv Bedi, talented CCRT Scholar Artists, Sneh Lata Mishra accompanied by Jay Shankar Mishra and Mukesh Bhardwaj, and internationally acclaimed violin maestro L. Shankar, who was accompanied on tabla by Mithlesh Jha. Each performance beautifully blended technical mastery with deep emotional expression, leaving the audience spellbound.

The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Vinod Narayan Indurkar, Chairman of CCRT, and Rahul Kumar, Deputy Director. Their presence underscored a shared commitment to preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage.

The festival emerged as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange, bringing together artists, scholars, and music enthusiasts. It not only showcased exceptional talent but also contributed to nurturing the legacy of Indian classical arts for future generations.
