Gorakhpur - Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), has announced an online Faculty Development Programme titled "Advanced Deep Dive into the Hidden Mathematical Science of Mechanistic Interpretability". The FDP will be organised from January 19 to 24, 2026, in online mode by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering under the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy.

The Programme aims to provide in-depth understanding of interpretability in AI, covering topics such as neural networks, Mathematical tools for AI, neural activations tranformers, probalistic approaches, and ethical of explainable AI. It is designed to enhance analytical and practical skills related to AI safety, transparency and governance. 

The FDP is open to faculty members of AICTE, approved institutions,  research scholars postgraduate scholars and industry professionals. The initiative is expected to strengthen research-oriented learning and promote awareness of emerging trends in interpretable and responsible AI.
