Haryana :- A seven-day workshop organised by the Department of Biotechnology, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh in collaboration with Panjab University, Chandigarh and sponsored by 'Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration' (SPARC) has concluded. On the organisation of this workshop focused on Nutrigenomics and Food Technology, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar in his message said that keeping in mind the growing population and human health, we need to move ahead with a special research strategy to improve nutrient quality of food plants and their products. He said that this workshop will definitely prove to be helpful in improving food research.
In the valedictory session of this workshop organized in Chandigarh, Dr.HumiraSonahwas present as expert speaker. She emphasized on valuable insights and motivational efforts towards building a sustainable future.
The Vice Chancellor of Panjab University Prof.RenuVig said that this workshop has been very beneficial for the students, and this effort will promote future research in the Department of Biotechnology of Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh and Punjab University, Chandigarh. In the closing session of the workshop, Prof. Kashmir Singh, Dr.RupeshDeshmukh, Dr.HumairaSonah, and Dr. Santosh Kumar Upadhyaya was present. At the end of the program Prof. Kashmir Singh proposed vote of thanks.
