Seven days Workshop on Bionanomaterials organised by Central Instrumentation Center

:- The lectures will be conducted through online and offline mode whereas the hands-on training will be provided to the participants in the laboratory

 

Haryana: The Central Instrumentation Center of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Haryana organised an inaugural session of seven days High-End Workshop and Training on “Development and characterization of nano biomaterials for biomedical applications sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board under Accelerate Vigyan Initiative of Government of India. 

This workshop is being attended by twenty-five participants from nine institutions.  The lectures will be conducted through online and offline mode whereas the hands-on training will be provided to the participants in the laboratory. At the inaugural session of the workshop, the Patron, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor of CUH was introduced by Prof. Neelam Sangwan, Dean Research and Dean School of interdisciplinary and applied Sciences. 

The patron, Prof. Kumar emphasized on the importance of bionanomaterials in different areas of medical sciences such as diagnostics, drug delivery and others. He believes that these kinds of workshops will undoubtedly enhance the skills of young PG and PhD scholars. 

In the inaugural session, two eminent speakers gave their presentation. Prof. S. K. Tripathi from Panjab University highlighted the synthesis and characterization of nanocomposites. The other speaker Dr. Ritu Srivastava from National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi elaborated on synthesis methods of nanoparticles and their use in diagnostics and drug delivery.
