Varanasi: Amidst the sound of the fourth wave of corona, once again Sero survey is being done by BHU Zoology Department. In this, a sample of about 120 people of Varanasi district has been taken. According to the results that have come after the investigation, the antibodies made in 30 percent of the people are over. At the same time, there are 46 percent people in whom the antibodies will end soon. Absolutely only 17 percent of people have antibodies left.

Professor GyaneshwarChoubey of the Department of Zoology said that since the first wave of corona, a survey of 5000 samples has been done. Amidst the sound of the fourth wave, 120 people of different ages were sampled in Varanasi. In the test report, it was found that in 30 percent of these people, antibodies have been eliminated. 46 percent of people are on the verge of extinction and seven percent have very little antibodies left. Only 17 percent of people have enough antibodies.

No danger of fourth wave

Professor GyaneshwarChoubey said that after three months of vaccination, antibodies start ending. In people who have taken both doses of the vaccine, the level of antibodies remains intact for six months. He said that when the antibodies are over in more than 70 percent of the people, then the possibility of a fourth wave will increase. For the time being, people should continue to follow the covid protocol. There is no such thing as panic.

The team of Professor GyaneshwarChoubey includes 15 researchers including Rudra Pandey, PrajwalPratap Singh. Department of Microbiology (BHU) Prof.Gopalnath said that the way the infection of corona is increasing, it is necessary to follow the covid protocol to prevent it. If followed properly, there will be no problem.

Health department alert in Varanasi, now only five cases

The health department in Varanasi has become alert after the increasing infection of corona in 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Ghaziabad and the necessity of masks. In order to control the infection at the local level, along with increasing the scope of investigation, it has been decided to make fresh preparations for testing and treatment in covid hospitals.
