JNU to Host a Seminar and Poetry Gathering

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will organise a one-day seminar cum-poetry gathering on January 3, 2026 to honour the contribution of social reformers Savitribai Phule and Gopal Singh Munda. The event will bring together noted academicians, writers and students.

New Delhi - The Centre of Indian Language (CIL) and The School of Language,  Literature and Culture Studies (SLL & CS) at Jawaharlal Nehru University will organise a seminar and poetry meet on January 3, 2026. The event is being organised to honour the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule, a leading figure in women's education and tribal icon Gopal Singh Munda. 

The Programme will include academic discussions on social reform, education and literature, along with poetry presentations by faculty members, research scholars and students. The session willl also see participation from senior academics and invited experts. 

As per the official announcement,  the event will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm at Seminar Room 212, SLL & CS-1, JNU Campus, New Delhi & will be open to researchers , students amd other interested candidates.
