Santiniketean: Visva-Bharati University will be conducting a scientific talk leading to the activities on International Yoga Day on May 19.
Every year June 21 is marked as an International Yoga Day all over the world. Various institutes organize various programmes celebrating it in different ways. Yoga in an ancient and complex practice rooted in Indian philosophy, begun as a spiritual practice but has become popular as a way of promoting physical and mental well-being of the people.
Thus, on May 19 Visva-Bharati will be organizing an Online Scientific talk on ‘Yogic Practices for Older Adults and their Psycho-Psychological Benefits’. Referring to the event, Dr. R. Nagarathna, Co-Founder of S-Vyasa University and Director of Standing Research Committee at Bangalore has invited as a speaker for the Talk.
