New Delhi, 17 December 2024 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has identified the submission of fake land certificates by two schools during the affiliation process.
CBSE grants affiliation to schools based on strict compliance with the conditions outlined in its Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018. As part of the process, the Board conducts rigorous scrutiny of all essential documents, including verification from the issuing authorities to ensure authenticity.
During the verification process, it was discovered that the land certificates submitted by Manava Bhawna Public School, located on Nathupura Main Road, Burari, Delhi, and Sat Saheb Public School, located at 101, C-Block, Som Bazar, Nanhey Park, Uttam Nagar, were fake and not issued by the concerned authorities.
In response to this fraudulent activity, CBSE has lodged a police complaint at the Preet Vihar Police Station, seeking legal action against the schools as per the law.
