New Delhi. ; L’Oréal India has announced the L’Oréal For Young Women in Science Program 2025–26, an initiative dedicated to empowering talented young women who aspire to pursue higher education in scientific fields. The program provides financial assistance to meritorious students from across India, helping them continue their studies and build careers in science, technology, and research.
About the Scholarship
This prestigious scholarship aims to promote gender equality in STEM education and support women who demonstrate exceptional academic potential but face financial constraints. Since its inception, the L’Oréal For Young Women in Science initiative has encouraged thousands of young women to enter and excel in scientific disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open exclusively to female students meeting the following conditions:
For Undergraduate Students:
- Must have passed Class 12 (Science stream) with at least 85% marks.
- Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a science-related field (except final-year students).
For Postgraduate/PhD Students:
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in their undergraduate course.
- Must be pursuing a postgraduate or PhD degree in Technology, Science, Pharma, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields (except final-year students).
Additional Requirements:
- Annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens and can apply from any part of the country (PAN India).
Note: Final selection for PG/PhD students is subject to the submission of a valid admission letter from a recognised Indian college or university. Eligibility and selection criteria may be revised at the discretion of the scholarship provider.
