SBI Foundation Announces Open Registrations for 14th batch of Youth for India Fellowship

New Delhi: SBI Foundation has opened registrations for the 14th batch of its flagship SBI Youth for India Fellowship, a 13 month experiential rural development program for Young graduates and professionals.The fellowship is designed for committed youth aged 21-32 years and is open to Indian citizens, Overseas citizens of India (OCIs), Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan and eligible SBI employees (confirmed officers in Scale I/II).

”With Over 70 percent of alumni moving into social sector leadership, 50 plus ventures launched, and partnerships with institutions such as NITI Aayog , UN Women , ILO, and J- PAL, the Fellowship continues to convert individual potential into India’s collective progress” stated by Mr.Swapan Dhar, MD,CEO,SBI Foundation regarding the programme’s role in leadership development.The programme addresses the rural-urban divide by placing fellows in villages across India, where they closely work with 15 partner NGOs to implement grass root level interventions.

Aligned with the national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, the SBI Youth for India Fellowship nurtures committed youth through structured mentorship, leadership training and skilful management experience. Beyond direct community Impact, it equips fellows with skills for long term contribution to inclusive and sustainable development.Over the past 14 years, the programme has developed a vibrant network of more than 700 alumni across 12 completed batches. Fellows have work experience in more than 250 villages spread across 22 states and union territories, positively impacting over two lakh lives through community level initiatives. The current batch of 94 fellows is actively serving the society in diverse locations in the country.The SBI Youth for India Fellowship continues to serve as a platform for young professionals seeking meaningful engagement in fostering social change.Interested candidates can apply through official portal.
