Announced during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to India, the launch marks a new era in bilateral educational collaboration.
The New Delhi office will provide comprehensive support to Indian students aspiring to study in Russia, offering guidance on university selection, admissions, visas, and cultural acclimatization. The agency aims to assist more than 10,000 Indian students in securing placements in Russian universities next year.
Comprehensive Support for Indian Students
Positioned as a one-stop center, the new branch will simplify the journey for Indian applicants by helping them choose suitable programs, prepare documentation, understand visa processes, and transition smoothly into Russian academic life.
“Many Indian alumni of Russian universities have become true ambassadors of friendship between our nations,” said Vadim Lobov, President of Synergy Corporation. He emphasized that Russian institutions carry forward the respected legacy of Soviet higher education—highly valued among Indian learners. “We are committed to helping the next generation access quality education in Russia.”
Natalia Popova, First Deputy CEO of Innopraktika, highlighted that the agency’s mission extends far beyond providing information:
“Anyone can search for university details online. Our role is to ensure students get accepted, complete documentation correctly, and adapt culturally once they arrive.”
Expanding Presence and Cultural Outreach
The agency is already collaborating with top Russian universities and plans to open additional branches in Mumbai and Chennai by 2026. It is also working with Indian schools to promote Russian language learning and cultural programs.
As part of its outreach, the agency conducted its first interactive session, “Bridge of Friendship: Russia and India,” which engaged more than 1,000 high school students in Delhi. Similar initiatives will be rolled out across the country to deepen cultural understanding.
