Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar said that India should be considered as an economic superpower. The role of women entrepreneurs is crucial in establishing the state and certainly the ongoing efforts in this direction will be strengthened through the discussions held in this event. ABRSM National President Prof. JP Singhal, who attended the program as a special guest, said that the role of women's entrepreneurship development will be important in realizing the dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that is to bring India's economy to the number one position in the world and we need to make maximum efforts in this direction.
In the inaugural session organized in the auditorium located in Academic Block 1 of the University, Prof.Geeta Bhatt, Director of Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board, University of Delhi, Major General Ranjit Singh, former Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana and Professor Sunita Srivastava from the Department of Physics also addressed. On this occasion, National Minister of ABRSM SangthanMantri, Shri. Mahendra Kapoor was also present on the stage. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar, while appreciating the organizers for this event, said that this topic is very important in today's time and certainly women's entrepreneurship has always contributed in the development of India and in future also it will play a decisive role in the progress of India. Expressing gratitude to the distinguished speakers in his address, the Vice Chancellor said that when we talk about sustainable development, the contribution of the younger generation especially women remains important in achieving it. He said that in today's time, the way women are proving their talent in every field, we cannot imagine a self-reliant, capable and prosperous India without their contribution. In this sequence, Prof. JP Singhal, while highlighting the role of women in his address, said that they are multitasking, patient, communication skillful and foster the development of new thinking and this quality is important in the development of an entrepreneur. Understanding the importance of women beyond the western point of view, today we need to bring them forward. Major General Ranjit Singh in his remarks also emphasized on the capacity development of women and maximum utilization of their energy and knowledge. Major GeneralRanjit Singh emphasized on ensuring active participation of women in the country's unity, security and economic development. Prof.Geeta Bhatt, while mentioning the history and ancient culture of India, highlighted the contribution of women in the development of society and the country. Prof.Sunita Srivastava, in a very simple way, highlighted the contribution of women in family, society, country and human welfare and how we can harness the capabilities of women to strengthen the economic, social and environmental development necessary for sustainable development. In the beginning of the program the convener Dr.Divya presented the purpose and outline of the event. In the inaugural session, Prof. Manoj Singha, Principal, Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, Prof.Yudhveer Singh from MDU Rohtak, Dr.Naresh Kumar from JNU, New Delhi, Prof.Usha Arora from Guru Jambeshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Prof. Manoj Kumar from Allahabad University, Convener of ABRSM, Haryana Mr. Daya Singh, Dean of School of Education Prof.Sarika Sharma, Prof.Nand Kishore, Prof.Surendra Singh, head of various departments, teachers in-charge, teachers, non-teaching staff, students, researchers and participants participated in large numbers. At the end of the program, Organizing Secretary Dr.RashmiTanwar gave vote of thanks while Dr.Neeraj Karan Singh conducted the stage.
