With the aim of making the youth aware about safe traffic on the road, a road safety competition was organized at Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh. Students and research scholars from various departments of the University participated in this competition organized with the joint efforts of the Office of the Dean Student Welfare of the University and the Road Safety Organization of Haryana Police, District Mahendragarh. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof.Tankeshwar Kumar called this competition, organized with the aim of creating awareness about road safety, as the need of the hour and said that through this event, students and scholars will definitely become aware of traffic rules.

Dean Student Welfare Prof.Anand Sharma said that students from various departments of the University participated in this road safety quiz competition organized under the instructions received from the Director General of police, Traffic, Haryana. Prof. Sharma told that through this one-hour event, the students and scholars were to be made aware about the necessary traffic rules on the road, safety measures and necessary traffic rules at the practical level. He said that through this event, students will definitely become more aware of the traffic rules and they will cooperate responsibly in following the rules laid down for road safety.
