Noida - The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), an autonomous institution under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, has issued a notification inviting applications for empanelment of Inquiry Officers.

The institute is seeking applications from retired officers not below the rank of Deputy Secretary from Government Offices, including Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Selected officers will be empanelled to conduct departmental inquiries related to vigilance matters.

According to the notice issued by the Chief Vigilance Officer, interested candidates can check detailed eligibility criteria, terms, and conditions on the official website — www.nios.ac.in.
The last date for submission of online applications is February 27, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the process within the stipulated timeline.
