New Delhi, 29 March 2023: A coffee table book, a first book written on the history of the Sindhis, titled 'Most iconic Sindhis of the World' was released at a book release function, held at Press Club of India here in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The occasion was graced by prominent Sindhi gem and Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani. noteworthy among those present on the occasion included the writer of the coffee table book Vikas Bhargava and Security, Sindhi Academy, New Delhi. The has also been released previously by Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla.

On the occasion of the book release at Press Club of India, Shankar Lalwani extended congratulations to the writer of the book. Lalwani said that Vikas Bhargava, despite being a non Sindhi, has brought out a detailed book on the history of the Sindhis which is incredible  as the book has brought to the fore the unparalleled contribution of the Sindhis to the world. 

He also mentioned that he felt good after listening to the tales of cultural renaissance. He said that this book provided a glimpse into innumerable  success stories of the Sindhi community and society, and diversity.

While talking to media persons , writer Vikas Bhargava said that this is first coffee table book on Sindhis. This is a unique book because this tells stories of Sindh and Sindhis, written by a non Sindhi person. This is highly influenced by the Sindhi society. The book comprises 61 Sindhi icon  of 16 countries of the world.

The writer Vikas Bhargava has already written 32 books including two books on the Arab world. The book "Soch"is the first Hindi book on Arab world, he said.

He also penned two  books on Africa,, which were in discussion and debate. Besides, he has written books on Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, besides Uttar Pradesh, which have received big appreciation. 

A Masters in Psychology, Bachelors in Commerce and arts from Delhi college of Arts, Vikas Bhargava revealed that he has done dozens of ad films, which include several international brands. He told news men that his forthcoming book will be on Jainism. The book attempts to display the contribution of the Jain community and people to the Jain Community and the society. Thereafter, Bhargava has a projects  on Pride of Uttar Pradesh and a book on the Two Koreas. It's worth mentioning here that Vikas Bhargava, who is also a humanitarian and human rights activist,  is presently living in Dubai, from where he is active as a writer.
