Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship education initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), has achieved a remarkable global milestone by entering the Guinness World Records for the **highest number of people registered on a citizen engagement platform in a single month**. The 2025 edition witnessed an unprecedented **3.53 crore valid registrations** through the MyGov platform.
The record-setting achievement was officially recognized during a ceremony in New Delhi, where Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath presented the certificate. The event was attended by Union Education Minister **Dharmendra Pradhan**, IT and Railways Minister **Ashwini Vaishnaw**, Minister of State for Electronics and IT **Jitin Prasada**, and other senior officials.
Speaking on the occasion, **Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan** said the initiative has reshaped India’s approach to exams and student well-being. “PPC is no longer just a programme—it’s a nationwide campaign for holistic, stress-free learning. The 2025 edition alone reached over 21 crore people across platforms,” he added.
Highlighting the broader impact, **Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw** emphasized that the programme reflects a growing awareness around mental wellness among students and a national shift toward confident, communicative learning environments.
**Minister Jitin Prasada** praised the role of digital platforms like MyGov in making such wide participation possible. “This achievement is also a landmark for participatory governance. Technology has allowed millions to engage meaningfully,” he said.
Launched in 2018, *Pariksha Pe Charcha* provides a platform for direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students, parents, and teachers. Each year, the programme encourages open discussions around exam preparation, stress management, and personal growth.
Aligned with the **National Education Policy (NEP) 2020**, PPC has become a model for promoting joyful, reflective, and experiential learning. PM Modi often addresses practical issues like screen time, anxiety, and performance pressure, offering guidance rooted in empathy and real-world understanding.
With this Guinness World Record, *Pariksha Pe Charcha* cements its status not just as an annual event—but as a transformative education movement.
