The consortium had planned two tests for 2022, which was a first. In May, the first session took place. For applicants from the unreserved category, the consortium has also lowered the counselling fee from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000. The cost would be Rs 20,000 for students in the reserved category.
The PG test has 120 total questions, while the UG exam has 150. The five areas of the CLAT include logical reasoning, legal reasoning, current affairs and general knowledge, and quantitative techniques. For every correct response, one mark is given, and for every erroneous response, 0.25 marks are taken away.
