Jabalpur - PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IITDM) Jabalpur an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India has released a notification inviting implications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a temporary basis.
The recruitment is for a sponsored research project titled “Depression detection based on latent association of facial and body expressions”, funded by the I-DAPT Hub Foundation, IIT (BHU) Varanasi (Project File No.: I-DAPT/IIT(BHU)/2025-26/Project Sanction/22).
Post Details:
Position - Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Posts - 01
Duration - Initially 6 months, extendable up to the project duration based on performance
Nature of Post - Temporary
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification - M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant or proposed project areas
Preference - GATE-qualified candidates
Mandatory Requirement - NET or equivalent qualification for candidates from a science background
Desirable Skills - Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Image/Signal Processing
PhD Opportunity:
The selected JRF will be eligible to register for the regular PhD programme at IIITDM Jabalpur, as per institute norms.
Salary & Benefits:
Monthly Fellowship - ₹37,000 per month
Additional Benefits - Campus accommodation or HRA @ 18%

Non-GATE candidates: Must qualify a written test to be eligible for interview
