Haryana: Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Central Library, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh conducted a Rangoli Competition under National Library Week with the blessings and direction of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar. 19 teams having 02 members each from various University Departments participated in the event. The University Librarian Dr. Santosh Hulagabali, motivated the students and told how colours help in organizing the life and to keep life in order. The coordinator of the event, Information Scientist, Dr. Vinita Malik, also stressed upon the power of colours to convey moods and feelings. The colours help in creating response towards surroundings and can influence our perspective and senses. 

The Deputy Librarian, Dr. Rajeev Vashistha shared the rules of the competition to all the participants. Mr. Naresh, Assistant librarian also shared his viewpoint regarding the importance of colours in life. The prizes and certificates were also awarded for motivation by the judge of the event, Head Group of Promotion of Arts, Culture and Heritage Dr. Aarti Yadav and Mr. Dilip Patel.
