Rajasthan University Forms Committee to Inspect Colleges for New Courses, Seat Increase

University of Rajasthan forms inspection committee to evaluate colleges for new courses and seat increase for 2025–26 session.

Jaipur: The University of Rajasthan has constituted a Sub-Committee of the Board of Inspection to evaluate colleges applying for new courses and increase in intake capacity for the academic session 2025–26.

According to the official order, the committee will inspect affiliated colleges that have submitted proposals for introducing programmes such as B.Sc, B.A (New Colleges), and B.Sc (Home Science), along with requests for increased seat intake.

The university has directed that inspection reports must be submitted within 10 days of the visit to ensure timely approval of applications. Colleges have also been instructed to submit necessary infrastructure and academic details in advance for verification.

The inspection teams will assess faculty availability, infrastructure, laboratories, and digital learning facilities, ensuring compliance with university norms.

Officials stated that the move aims to maintain academic standards and quality assurance while expanding educational opportunities across affiliated colleges.

The university further clarified that inspections will be conducted as per schedule coordinated with the colleges, and necessary actions will be taken based on the evaluation reports.
