Jaipur: The University of Rajasthan has appointed inspection teams to assess proposals for new courses at three affiliated colleges for the 2026–27 academic session. The courses include postgraduate music programmes and integrated teacher education programmes, according to an office order dated October 9, 2026. Inspection Reports to Be Submitted Within 10 Days
The university has asked the inspection teams to examine the colleges' infrastructure and facilities and submit their reports within 10 days. The assessment is to consider classrooms and smart classrooms, laboratories and computer facilities, libraries or digital libraries, and other infrastructure required for the proposed courses. Inspectors must coordinate the inspection date with the other members of their team. The order also states that the inspection report must carry the signatures of all appointed inspectors.
New Courses Are Not Yet Confirmed
The inspection is part of the university's process for considering fresh course affiliation. The teams have been asked to recommend an appropriate number of seats after assessing the facilities available at each institution. The university's Board of Inspection will consider the reports before a further decision is taken. Therefore, the proposed courses and seat numbers listed in the order should not be treated as final approval to begin admissions. Students interested in these programmes should wait for the university's subsequent affiliation decision and official admission announcements.
