Punjab: Panjab University (PU) has officially announced the postponement of its undergraduate entrance examinations for the 2026 academic session. The PU‑CET (UG) and PU Tourism & Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) — initially scheduled for December 28, 2025 and January 9, 2026 respectively — will now be held on May 10 and May 15, 2026.
According to the university, the decision was taken to align the admission cycle with national academic calendars and reduce overlap with board exams and other major entrance tests. PU administrators also noted that many students and parents had expressed concerns about the earlier timeline, prompting the revision to a later schedule.
Candidates registered for PU‑CET UG and PUTHAT are advised to regularly check the official university website for updated admit card dates, detailed exam timetables, and application‑related announcements. Students should also prepare according to the revised schedule and stay tuned for further procedural updates.
