Haryana :- AAVRITI, Physics Association, Department of Physics and Astrophysics, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh organized the inaugural function for the academic session 2023-24 on 19th Oct, 2023. The event commenced with lighting of lamp by the chief guest, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor CUH, Prof Tankeshwar Kumar, Prof SunitaSrivastva, HOD along with other faculty members, followed by playing of the University kulgeet and beautiful performance on Ganesh Vandana.  Dr. AnkushVij formally welcomed the chief guest and audience and gave a briefing about Physics Association, its objectives and how it is helping the department students. 

Prof. Sunita Srivastava, HOD also welcomed Chief Guest and motivated the students. In addition to highlighting the importance of Physics Association, she also apprised Vice-Chancellor regarding various initiatives taken by the department and students achievements. Prof Tanskeshwar Kumar in his inaugural address congratulated the Department for taking various initiatives taken through Physics Association and also for students achievements such as increasing number of NET/GATE qualified students and particularly MSc dissertation students for carrying out their research work in various renowned premier institutions like TIFR Mumbai, IITs, RRCAT, SINP, IISERs etc. He stressed upon the importance of experiential and mutidimensional learning in addition to academic persuits. His words of wisdom were a blessing for the entire department. Students also performed some cultural activities. On this occasion, Prof Suneel Kumar, Dr Rakesh Kumar, DrJaswant Kumar, DrRamovatar, Dr Raman, DrBabita, DrPriya, Dr Vijay, Dr Gaurav were also present. The function proved to be huge success among the students.
