Mahendergarh : Federation of Health Science Library Associations, India has conferred the Professor S.R.Ranganathan Memorial Scholar Award 2021 in Library and Information science under senior category to the Dr. Rajeev Vashistha, Deputy Librarian of PanditDeendayalUpadhyaya Central Library, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh.Prof.TankeshwarKumar,Vice-Chancellor of the University has showered his blessings for attaining this milestone.
This National Level prestigious award was granted to Dr. Rajeev in the senior category of Library and Information Science on 26th November 2022 during 3rd Annual Conference of FHSLA which was held on 25-26 November 2022 at ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand for his extraordinary contribution in the Library Science field. The conference was chaired by Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Health and Higher Education Minister, Govt. of Uttrakhand and presided over by the Dr. Meenu Singh, Director, AIIMS, Rishikesh and Dr.P.R.Meena, President, FHSLA.
Around 150 Librarians from all over India participated in the Conference having the theme as One Nation One Subscription. Dr. Rajeev Vashisthaalso presented a paper entitled as One Nation One Subscription – India’s stance on facilitating research through repository in this 3rd National Conference of FHSLA. The University Librarian, Dr. Santosh Kumar has applauded Dr. Rajeev for his achievement. All the Library officers and staff members congratulated Dr. Rajeev for achieving this milestone.
