New Delhi: The Prerana Programme – The Experiential Learning School has opened registrations for Cycle-II, inviting students from Grades 8 to 11 to participate in a unique one-week immersive learning experience designed to go beyond conventional classroom education.
Prerana is envisioned as more than just an academic programme—it is a transformational journey that empowers young minds through experience, exposure, and purpose. Hosted in Vadnagar, Mehsana district of Gujarat, the programme is set within a historic institution established in 1888, where heritage meets innovation in a future-focused educational environment.
Through the integration of modern technology, hands-on activities, teamwork, and real-world exposure, Prerana aims to nurture responsible and self-aware citizens. The learning framework is structured around nine core human values, delivered through eight thematic classrooms, promoting joyful and meaningful activity-based engagement.
The core human values include:
- Swabhiman aur Vinay
- Shaurya aur Sahas
- Parishram aur Samarpan
- Karuna aur Seva
- Vividhta aur Ekta
- Satyanishtha aur Shuchita
- Navachar aur Jigyasa
- Shraddha aur Vishwas
- Swatantrata aur Kartavya
Participants will also explore archaeological and historical sites of Vadnagar, enriching their understanding of India’s rich civilizational heritage. Students from different parts of the country will engage in cultural exchange, gaining insights into India’s unity in diversity and living traditions.
The programme includes a wide range of experiential activities such as film screenings, storytelling, regional games, crafting working radio models, learning computer design skills, observing water samples, and exploring advanced technologies like 3D printing and drones. Guided field trips, collaborative learning, and mentorship by selected experts ensure a holistic educational experience.
Students will also gain an understanding of India’s journey from ancient civilisation to becoming one of the world’s top five economies, including major achievements such as the Chandrayaan Moon mission. Creative expression through paintings, podcasts, blogs, and 3-D models allows participants to showcase learning in ways aligned with their individual strengths.
The Prerana Programme aims to instil citizenship, national pride, entrepreneurship, and the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, preparing students to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
Interested students are encouraged to register on the official portal and be part of this transformative educational initiative.
