New Delhi, July 26: Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi officially assumed charge of the Ministry of Education at Kartavya Bhavan today. The Minister also has charge of the Union Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy.
Shri Joshi, as the main chair for the Ministry, reviewed a few new schemes as well as ongoing initiatives. The review meeting was also attended by Union Minister of State for Education Shri Jayant Chaudhary. Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, and Shri T. K. Anil Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, and other Ministry officials were also present in the meeting.
