Haryana: A poster making competition focused on Gender Justice was organized by the Internal Complaints Committee of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh on Friday. The purpose of this event was to make the students aware of gender equality and justice. While appreciating this effort of the organizing committee, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said that surely through this the students will be aware of gender justice and will cooperate in spreading this knowledge in the society as well.
Students of different departments of the University participated enthusiastically in this event and carved on canvas the works focused on gender justice. Dr. Pradeep Singh said that in today's time it is very important for the students to be aware about gender justice. He said that students definitely get the benefit of such events. Dr. Dharampal Poonia, Dr. Mona Sharma and Dr. Renu Yadav were present in the program as members of the jury.
In the poster making competition, Abina Mathew, Department of Nutritional Biology got first, Vijayalakshmi Mahavar of B.Ed. got second while Amir Faisal from B.Voc. secured the third position. Teachers and students of various departments including Vinita Malik, Dilip Patel were present at the program.
