New Delhi: PM YASASVI (PM Young Achiever Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India) is a scholarship program for OBC (Other Backward Class), EBC (Economically Backward Classes) and DNT (De-notified tribes) students in top class schools by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. This scholarship will be given to 15,000 OBC, ENT and DNT students.
Eligibility for the Scholarship:
- Students from OBC, EBC and De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNT)
- Parents/ Guardians annual income should not be more than Rs. 2.50 lakhs
- Studying in Top Class School (list in https://yet.nta.ac.in) in Class 9 or 11
Documents required:
- Valid Functional Mobile Number
- Aadhar Number (UID)
- Aadhar linked bank account
- Income Certificate
- Caste Certificate
Students will be selected on the based by merit in the YASAVI Entrance Test (YET) which will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
The scholarship is entitled to provide Rs. 75,000 p.a for Class9/10 or Rs. 1,25,000 p.a for Class 11/12, which will include school/hostel fee.
Exam will be conducted on September 11, 2022. The application window will be open from July 27, 2022 to August 26, 2022. Candidates will get a chance to correct their application form from August 27 to 31, 2022. And admit cards will be displayed on September 5, 2022.
