Lucknow: UPSSSC PET exam date 2022 has been postponed to the month of October 2022. According to the notice issued by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on its website, the new UPSSSC PET exam date is 15 and 16 October 2022. Thus, the candidates who have successfully applied for the PET exam should have a clear study plan to ace the exam.

UPSSSC PET is the Preliminary Eligibility Test, commonly known as UPSSSC PET or UP PET or PET exam. This exam is held annually for 10th pass candidates to fill up vacancies in Group B and C posts. Candidates who will obtain the cut off marks in PET exam will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam.

Around 37 lakh candidates have applied for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) to appear in the exam this year. Vacant posts in various departments of the Government of Uttar Pradesh will be filled through this recruitment exam.

Mode of Examination: Offline mode in MCQ format.

Marking Scheme: +1 marks for each correct response and 0.25 negative marking for incorrect answers.

Time Duration: 2 hours without any break.

The admit card for the students appearing in this exam will be made available in online mode on the official website a few days before the exam date. Candidates should keep visiting the site from time to time for any kind of information or updates.Since UP PET exam date is 18 September, therefore, you may expect the admit card to be released 10 days before the exam date.
