PES University is closing admissions for its Ph.D. and M. Tech programmes in one week, with the deadline for submitting applications being February 28. Following this, applicants will be required to take an entrance exam on March 5 and meet with an interviewer sometime in the third week of March. Ph.D. degrees can be earned in the areas of computer science and engineering, electronics and mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, biotechnology, science (mathematics, physics and chemistry), commerce and management and computer applications and pharmacy. 

Qualifications needed for entering the M. Tech programmes require applicants to have an under graduate degree with at least 60% of marks earned, while the Ph.D. programmes require applicants to have a post graduate degree from University Grands Commission (UGC) recognized university in a related field of study with a minimum of 60% in aggregate marks.
