Gandhinagar: Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU), Gandhinagar, will host an International Conference on Geopolitics of Energy Security, Energy Transition, and Climate Change Mitigation from April 21 to 23, 2026. The conference is being organised by the School of Liberal Studies and is supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research.
The conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts to examine how geopolitical tensions, climate imperatives, and technological change are reshaping global energy systems. A special focus will be placed on India’s evolving role in global energy security and transition pathways.
