Chandigarh: Panjab University Chandigarh has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputed agencies for the development and implementation of a Digital Evaluation System and Answer Sheet Digitization framework.
The initiative aims to modernize the university’s examination process by introducing a secure, scalable, and technology-driven evaluation system. The proposed system will include features such as answer sheet scanning, digital evaluation workflows, examiner allocation, monitoring, and result processing.
According to the notification, interested agencies must have prior experience in digital evaluation systems, IT infrastructure, and data security frameworks, along with compliance with national standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and data protection guidelines.
The scope of work includes secure receipt and scanning of physical answer scripts, hosting and maintenance of digital platforms, evaluation tracking, encryption of data, and audit trails to ensure transparency and efficiency.
The university has emphasized strict adherence to data protection, cybersecurity, and legal compliance norms, including secure data storage within India and mandatory confidentiality agreements.
Eligible agencies are required to submit their EOI in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh, within the prescribed deadline. Submissions must include all necessary documents as outlined in the official notice.
Officials stated that the move is part of the university’s broader effort to digitize examination systems, improve evaluation efficiency, and enhance transparency in academic processes.
