New Delhi. : Palash: The Festival of Art is a multi dimensional event that provides artists and enthusiasts an opportunity to understand, appreciate and create new and legacy art forms. It will be organised at Kala Swati, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), Janpath in New Delhi from 17th to 20th  April, 2022. 
 
The event provides a platform for artists to get recognised in India and across the globe. The event aims to provide an opportunity for artists to get closer to new technologies and advancements. According to organising team , it is “a movement to bring back the passion of expression into the lives of common people.”
 
The event will explore various activities which includes Exhibition of renowned artists; Workshop of various art forms; lectures, demo and conversations (LDC), Art Mela for artists and art galleries; and Flea market and entertainment zones. 
 
The festival will comprise of 8 different workshops on Batik, Resin Art, Angular Abstraction, Jute Rope Craft, Paper Cutting, Tie and Dye Art,Hindi Calligraphy, and Clay modelling. 
 
The various lectures, demo and conversations (LDC) that will take place at the festival includes cartoon sketch, Ajarak and philosophy, Art as spiritual journey, abstract painting, fluid art, display art, museum and art, architecture and art, conversation and art, and waste and art. The given list is however subject to change.
