‘Overview of Space Science & Technology’: Free online course by ISRO

:- Through this course, students will be exposed to various aspects of space science and technology

New Delhi: Summer vacations have started in the schools. Everyone is using these holidays in their own way. While many schools are organizing summer camps, a large number of students are also enrolling in different training courses of one-month duration. If you are interested in space science and technology, then you can attend free online courses of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Today we are going to give you complete information related to this course.

ISRO has announced a free online course for the students. Its name is- 'Overview of Space Science and Technology'. Through this course, students will be exposed to various aspects of space science and technology. Along with Indian students, foreign students can also participate in this. This course is being organized by Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) as Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

When will it start?

The 'Overview of Space Science and Technology' course will start from June 6 and will continue till July 5. In this 10-hour course, students will be able to watch online videos in English. The course can be viewed till the students understand it well. After the student will watch the video, a quiz will be conducted.

Who can apply?

As we told you, this course is available for both Indian and foreign students. If you are more than 10 years of age, then you can take part in this course.

How to apply?

Students who want to take part in this course have to visit the website of Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) (https://isat.iirs.gov.in/mooc.php). You have to go there and register. The session can be attended through the credentials received on the e-mail. Renowned space scientists of the country will have a role in this course. And most importantly students who complete this course will also be given a certificate. Students who will have 70 percent attendance and who will get at least 60 percent marks in the quiz will be given a certificate by ISRO.
