New Delhi. : The Minister of State for Education, Annapurna Devi today shared the data of the number of students enrolled in the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for the October 2022 exam. A total of 77,836 students were enrolled for Class 10 and 1,23,644 students in Class 12. 

Out of the aforementioned total, 76,776 students appeared for the October 2022 exam for Class 10 and 1,23,619 students for Class 12. The total number of students who passed the exam are— 43,930 in Class 10 and 59,371 in Class 12. 

The candidates who switched to NIOS from other boards and cleared the exam are 4438 students in Class 10 and 4749 students came in Class 12.The minister of state was answering a question raised by BJP MP Dipsinh Shankarsinh Rathod. 

NIOS recently released the time table for the upcoming April/May 2023 theory exams. The exams will begin from April 6 and conclude on May 20 for both classes 10 and 12.
