Openly defended Viva voce of Mr. Subrata Mondal at The University of Burdwan

Viva-voce of Mr. Subrata Mondal to be held; dates announced

Kolkata: University of Burdwan has announced to all that the viva voce (openly defended) of Sri Subrata Mondal, a senior research fellow in the Department of Botany at Burdwan University, is set to take place on November 13, 2024, at 3 PM. 

 

This important academic event will be held at the Prof. P.N. Bhaduri Seminar Hall within the Department of Botany. Sri Mondal is conducting his research under the guidance of Dr. Saikat Naskar, a respected Professor of Botany at the University of Burdwan.

 


 During the seminar, he will present his findings on "Investigation on Ecological Adaptation and Taxonomy of the Mangrove Genera Avicennia and Sonneratia L.F. in India Sundarban." 

 


This research is particularly significant as it delves into the ecological roles and taxonomic classifications of these crucial mangrove species, which play a vital part in coastal ecosystems.

 

 

 All members of the Research Advisory Committee (RAC), faculty members, research scholars from the Department of Botany, and any other interested individuals are cordially invited to attend this seminar to support Sri Mondal and engage with his research.
