Patna: Department of Architecture and Planning, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna is going to conduct a five-day Short-Term Course on Research Methods in Architecture. The course will be conducted between April 11 to 15, 2022.
The aim of the course is to spread Research knowledge among the Architectural stakeholders. It will focus on exploring the potential Research domains and brainstorming for applied research. The course will have Research persons from distinct field of expertise to widen the knowledge bank amongst all those who are involved.
The entire programme would be conducted in online mode. The details of the online platform and meeting link will be communicated to the candidates via their registered emails.
The short-term course on Research Methods in Architecture will focus on-
- Avenues of Research in Architecture
- Research Techniques in Architecture
- Data collection, surveys and sampling tools
- Current computational and statistical tools for architectural research
The registration fee for the course are-
- Research scholars/PG/UG students- ₹250
- Academician/ faculty members- ₹500
- R&D/ industry/ corporate executives- ₹750
The registrations can be made to the short-term course by applying through a Google registration form. Payments are also to be made online. All the participants attending the session will be given a certificate for the same.
