Patna - Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, has released an official notification announcing the schedule for enxtension of provisional affliation for B.Ed, M.Ed and M.A (Education) courses for the academic session 2026-27. The notification applies to NCTE-recognised colleges and institutions affiliated with the university. 

As per the notification,  institutions are required to submit the online application form for extension of provisional affiliation by January 31, 2026, through the university's affiliation portal. In addition,  the duly attested hard copy of the application form must be submitted by February 7, 2026.

The university has advised all the concerned colleges to strictly adhere to the timeline to avoid any disruption in affiliation status for the upcoming academic year. The schedule has been issued in accordance with the decisions of the Affiliation Calender Committee and relevant regulatory guidelines. 

Institutions are expected to complete all formalities within the stipulated dates to ensure continuaion of affiliation for teacher education programmes under AKU for the 2026-27 sessions.
