Offline Workshop on methodological significance of social science theories

Kolkata : The University of North Bengal is going to organize an offline workshop from March 7 to March 13. The workshop is jointly organized by Department of Sociology with Sociology of Everyday Life of the Indian Sociological Science (ISS) and the UGC Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC).

The applications are invited for this workshop from teachers and research scholars (below 40 years of age). The applicants having background with Sociology, Social Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, History and Social Work can apply for the workshop.

Candidates are selected on first come first serve basis. The intake capacity of candidates is 40 as prescribed by the University. The in-service teachers must apply with no objection certificate (NOC) from the employer. Candidates seeking accommodation from 6th to 13th March in the University Guest House have to pay Rs 2000/- and candidates not asking for accommodation shall pay Rs 1000/- as registration fee in cash at the time of spot registration on 7th March 2022.
