NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Provisional Answer Keys and Recorded Response Sheets for the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2, specifically for Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning). Candidates who appeared for the April session can now download their response sheets from the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Key Dates and Fee Details
The window to challenge the provisional answer key is strictly time-bound:
- Challenge Period: 25 April to 27 April 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
- Processing Fee: ₹200 per question challenged (non-refundable).
- Payment Mode: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
How to Challenge the Answer Key
Candidates who disagree with the provided answer keys can submit a challenge by following these steps:
- Visit the official JEE Main website.
- Log in using your Application Number and Password.
- Click on the ‘Challenge regarding Answer Key’ tab.
- Select the Question ID you wish to contest and choose the correct Option ID.
- Upload supporting documents in a single PDF file if necessary.
- Save your claim and pay the processing fee.
Important Note
The NTA has clarified that no challenge will be entertained without the receipt of the processing fee or after the deadline of 11:50 PM on 27 April 2026. If a challenge is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised for all candidates. The final result will be prepared based on these revised keys.
