New Delhi. : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important advisory for students preparing to apply for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] 2026, scheduled to be held in May 2026. The online application form will soon be available on the official website: https://cuet.nta.nic.in.
To ensure a smooth and error-free application process, NTA has urged all CUET UG aspirants to update key documents well in advance. This proactive step aims to reduce discrepancies, grievances, and rejections during verification.
Documents to Be Updated Before Applying for CUET (UG) 2026
1. Aadhaar Card
Candidates must ensure that their Aadhaar information is accurate and updated, including:

Correct name

Date of birth as per Class 10 certificate

Latest photograph

Updated address
-
Correct father’s name
2. UDID Card / Disability Certificate (for PwD candidates)

The UDID card or disability certificate must be valid, updated, and renewed as required.
3. Category Certificate
Candidates applying under reserved categories should confirm that their certificates are:

Applicable for EWS, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL categories as per government norms
