New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications as of 8th May, 2026, for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission at the Master’s degree level [ICAR AIEEA (PG)] and the All India Competitive Examination for Junior Research Fellowship/Senior Research Fellowship at the Doctoral Degree level [AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)]. These examinations will be conducted on behalf of ICAR on 4th July, 2026, in 122 cities across India.

Both examinations will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will follow the English medium. The question paper will comprise objective multiple choice questions (MCQs) and is to be solved over a duration of two hours.
Candidates are to visit the official page of ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.). They are required to go through the Information Bulletin of each examination for details regarding the eligibility criteria, as well as step-by-step instructions for the form-filling and fee payment procedures.
The application form is to be initiated through Aadhar-based authentication; this has been advised for verification purposes. When filling in the form, candidates must ensure that all information provided by them is accurate and up to date.
Candidates will also be required to capture a live photograph during the submission of the application form. As this photograph will be displayed on the Admit and Score Cards, candidates are advised to use proper lighting along with a light-coloured background to ensure visibility of their face. Should their desktop device not support a webcam, a QR code will be provided, using which the live photograph may be captured through a mobile device.
Candidates who are Persons with Disabilities/ Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD/PwBD), are to upload either their Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card or a valid Disability Certificate when applying. The provided details shall be verified through the portal of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), or the relevant issuing authority, respectively.
The examination fee is to be paid online via either Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card. The Confirmation Page generated upon successful payment is to be preserved as the Application Number printed on it is to be mentioned in future correspondences.
No more than one application form is to be submitted per candidate. The deadline for the receipt of application is 5 PM on 7th June, 2026. Should there be any errors in any of the particulars of the form, candidates may avail of the correction facility on 9th and 10th May, 2026.
