New Delhi :- The North Zone Inter University Tennis (Men) Championship is being hosted Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) from 26th to 30th December, 2023. Twenty-nine  teams from different universities of North Zone are participating in the tournament.

The opening ceremony of the championship was held today at NMAKP Sports Complex of JMI. Prof. Eqbal Hussain, Offng. Vice Chancellor of the university inaugurated the tournament while Prof. Nazim Husain Jafri, Registrar, JMI was the Guest of Honour of the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Waseem Ahmad Khan, Director, Games & Sports, JMI, Prof. Mohd. Shahid Khan, Deputy Director, Games & Sports, JMI, Prof. Iqtedar Mohd. Khan, Dean, Humanities & Languages, Prof. Muslim Khan, Dean, Social Sciences, Prof. Atiqur rehm, Chief Proctor, JMI, Prof. Archana Dassi, Organising Secretary of the tournament and other teaching & non-teaching staff members of the university.
